Still using wooden stakes or rebar? So was I, until I saw these beauties. Simply put, Nicerink’s bracket system is the BEST way to build your backyard rink with the least amount of hassle. Designed to work with their thermoplastic rink boards as well as 3/4″ thick plywood, Nicerink brackets are the easiest, fastest, and most secure way to keep your boards upright.

The minimum board height for use with these brackets is 12″, with a maximum suggested height without additional support of 24″. For rinks on uneven or sloping ground, NR has added an extra board support component into the bracket (see below), where a 1″ x 4″ board can be added and attached for additional sideboard support. There is also a 3⁄4″ diameter stake hole within the bracket to provide extra stability when needed.

For most rinks, brackets should be placed every four feet along the perimeter. Place them every two feet apart and add 1 x 4′s and/or steel stakes into the bracket for any areas with more than 14″ of water/ice.

Prices for brackets start at $10 each. Contact us for an exact quote.
